giveaway day

It's here!  It's here!  It's finally here!

I am so VERY excited about Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day!  Not only do I love going through the dozens and dozens of blogs for inspiration (and of course a chance to win something awesome) but this year I am finally hosting a giveaway myself.  It's such a fun idea and I love creating for other people, so why not?

Without further ado, let me introduce you to the prize:

Buttercup Bag.jpg

A Buttercup Bag (made of course, from the pattern by Made by Rae).  Exterior fabric is my fabric home decor weight Ikea Bladd fabric in grey, and interior is a hot pink "Bubbles and Blooms" print.

Buttercup Bag lining.jpg

And for an extra special treat: 2 fat quarters and a .4m piece of fabric!  The prints are: Heather Bailey Pop Garden Swirlybuds in turquoise, Amy Butler Midwest Modern 2 Park Fountains in yellow and Gail Kessler Summerhouse Collection Butterflies in purple.

Giveaway Day Prize.jpg

Excited?  To enter, please leave a comment on this post telling me where you're from, and either what your favourite thing to sew is, or what fabric you're currently obsessing over.  I will leave comments open until Thursday, May 20 at noon (Mountain Time) and choose a winner by random number generator after that.

Good luck!

Greetings from Ireland!
My favourite thing to make at the moment is bag, although I think I might start branching off into things the go into bags like sunglasses cases & wallets. I really love the Cosmo Cricket fabrics which seem to call me every time I am in a fabric shop!

I love your stuff! Really! I forgot what we were supposed to comment on - I'm in Iowa, USA, and I LOVE that modern baby quilt you did! wow! And your blog inspires me to want to sew/quilt more, so thanks for that! I added you to my google reader, so I hope to keep getting inspired for a long, long time! :)

I live close to Three Hills, which in Bloggy World is VERY close to you! (About an hour NE of Calgary)
I love the bag and the fabric, and my favorite sewing medium is quilts, and my favorite fabric line at 7:58 this morning is Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow, but by 8:05, it might be something else!

I live in Atlanta, Georgia and I am LOVING Heather Ross (the fish in a bag especially)! I know it's been out for a while, but I'm relatively new to the sewing world and still haven't acquired any HR yet. Thanks for the chance to win your pretty bag and fabric!
